Animals in a Field

As complex as this photo is, it really wasn’t all that hard (although it was slightly time consuming) to create. Here are the steps I used to create this photo

1. Firstly I took a picture of me and cropped my face out of it (using magnetic lasso).

2. I then took the picture of my face and layered it on top of an animal (an owl)

3. Next I cropped around the owl and my face (using magnetic lasso)

4. Then I took the cropped picture of the owl with my face on it and layered it into a scenic photograph of a meadow.

5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each person and their specific animal.

And there you have it!

Buffalo Jeans (Borland)

This is one of my personal favorites. To complete this photo I had to go through a series of steps:

1. I took a picture of a male model posing.

2. I cropped Cameron’s face out of a picture of him wearing a soccer ball hat.

3. Next I took Cameron’s face and layered it overtop the male models face and made it the correct size.

4. after this, I took the “Buffalo Jeans” logo and layered it across the picture.

5. Lastly I put the whole image though a grayscale filter.

The Wild Pine Marten

This next photo is of a Pine Marten (Martes martes), with a picture of my face, layered ontop of the Marten. I did this by taking a picture of me, and cropping around my face (using magnetic lasso). I then layered my cropped face ontop of a picture of a pine marten (on the face area). Next, I added text to the top of my picture, that said “the Wild Pine Marten”.

That was easy!

Official MGMT 2010 Tour Poster

This band poster (for the band MGMT) was one of the first professional creations I made on Photoshop. As stunning as this photo may seem, it really wasn’t all that difficult to make. All that I had to do was create a stamp out the image I chose (the new mgmt album cover). After I did this, I just stamped around the page in a specific pattern, using cold coulors, then added vertical text saying: MGMT.

Welcome

Greetings, and Welcome to Bon Echo (photoshop edition).
I will be posting a variety of photos (with descriptions) and maybe even some songs later on.
